Biocomposite Material
Our plastic pallets and collapsible bins are unique in the marketplace in that they offer the advantage of a renewable raw material component that is designed to reduce the amount of plastic used to manufacture them.
Grain based filler helps the plastic pallets and collapsible bins meet the goals of sustainability by using renewable material components
This patent-pending technology which provides for the use of grain fiber and fillers in plastic composite products helps reduce the amount of plastic that is used by replacing petroleum-based plastic with a renewable grain-based byproduct of the ethanol manufacturing process. This results in a composite material, which is created by combining two or more materials to produce a new material that retains the properties of the original components. The unique combinations of these materials offer advantages over traditional materials in a wide variety of applications. Research has proven that combinations of grain fibers and fillers could substitute for traditional fibers and fillers with no degradation of product performance. The plastic pallets and collapsible bins have all been tested at facilities such as the Michigan State University School of Packaging test labs and meet ASTM and other applicable standards.

The plastic pallets and collapsible bins we offer have the advantages of being manufactured from a combination of 100% recycled plastic material and a grain-based biocomposite. The plastic pallets and collapsible bins benefit the environment by eliminating the use of virgin plastic raw materials in favor of materials that help these products meet the goals of sustainability initiatives.
